Benzodiazepines are man-made medications that cause mild to severe depression of the nerves within the brain (central nervous system) and sedation (drowsiness).People with anxiety, seizure and alcohol withdrawal get this. It is also used for sedation during surgery. Xanax and valium are also a benzodiazepine.
Psychiatry also like to treat people with anti-depressants as alcoholism other side effect is depression. Ben Affleck entered Canyon Park in Malibu which assigns a psychiatrist to each patient, so it is a high likelihood he will be on psych drugs.
Now people with alcohol problems do the right thing to enter rehab, but the current method of rehab is the administration of drugs. The psychiatric drugs don’t work at all and will make a person worse. All these celebrity place to rehab like the Betty Ford Center has psychiatry prescribing administering drugs. That is psychiatry in a nutshell “drugs”. There are a number of drug dependency programs that don’t use psychiatric drugs. Narconon being one, but a person with addiction problems should thoroughly seek options that don’t involve pharmaceutical drugs as a solution, because psych drugs are not a solution. For example Xanax, valium and benzo’s are addictive.

Las Vegas killer Stephen Paddock and Texas Shooter Devin Patrick Kelley both were on Pharmaceutical Medications

Stephen Paddock killed 59 people and about 527 were injured at a country music festival in Las Vegas in October. It is being called the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. Stephen Paddock was prescribed diazepam known by its brand name Valium. Valium is used to treat anxiety, muscle spasms and seizures. It is an anti-anxiety drug that has links to aggressive behavior.

Sunday November 5th 2017 Devin Patrick Kelley killed indiscriminately 26 people at a church service in Sutherland Springs Texas. According to Fox News former classmates indicated Devin Kelley was heavily medicated and a loner. Middle school classmates complained about his parents and his medications during school. They indicated that his parents placed him on heavy doses of psych medications.

Two mass murderers both on psych drugs. Devin Patrick Kelley had most likely seen a psychiatrist. Yes, they both used guns and killed with the sole intention to kill while on psychotropic drugs. This has been a continual pattern seen all across the world and especially the United States. Do you recall the German Wings pilot Andreas Lubitz was on psych drugs and he crash a plane in the French Alps killing 150.

Psych drugs kill and kill and kill. Very few make the obvious connection. Are governments and the media covering it up for pharma and psychiatrists?

Eddie Ray Routh, Suspect In Chris Kyle Chad Littlefield Murders, Was Diagnosed PTSD

Eddie Ray Routh of the Marine Corp Reserve is on trial for the murder of Chris Kyle the “American Sniper” and is diagnosed PTSD. Routh has been charged with one count of capital murder and two counts of murder in the shooting deaths of Kyle, author of the best-selling book "American Sniper," and his friend Chad Littlefield at a shooting range in Glen Rose, Texas.
Upon his arrest for the crime Routh told authorities he was a Marine veteran who was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Police took him to Green Oaks Hospital for psychiatric care and he was on suicide watch. The hospital would not release his records because of privacy laws. The court will likely not disclose his pharmaceutical drug use though. Previously Routh was involved in burglary regarding pill bottles. It is extremely likely Routh was prescribed PTSD drugs due to his erractic behavior and that is how the Military deals with PTSD patients.
The Army Surgeon General's office is backed away from its long-standing endorsement of prescribing psychotropic drugs for PTSD. They have a number of regional medical commanders against using tranquilizers such as Xanax and Valium to treat PTSD.

News reports have reported a recent Army memo. The memo indicates that the Army Medical Command has taken a new look at PTSD drugs known as benzodiazepines. These drugs such as Xanax and Valium, could intensify rather than reduce combat stress symptoms and lead to addiction. So the Army is now backing away from Xanax and Valium in their treatment of PTSD.

We are not sure if Eddy Ray Routh was prescribed Xanax or Valium, but it is likely he was using some pharma drug as a ‘treatment”. His defense indicates that they will be defending Routh on temporary insanity. We think they should say the pharma drugs did it. The track record of pharma surely demonstrates that.

My Biggest Mistake was Seeing a Psychiatrist: Stevie Nicks

The biggest mistake I ever made was giving in to my friends and going to see a psychiatrist. It was in the mid-1980s, and I had just gotten out of Betty Ford. I was feeling buoyant and saved and fantastic. But everyone said, “We’re sure you’re going to start using again. You should go to a psychiatrist.” Finally, I said, “All right!” and went. What this man said was: “In order to keep you off cocaine we should put you on the drug that we’re using a lot these days called Klonopin.” Stupidly, I said, “All right.” And the next eight years of my life were destroyed.

Klonopin is in the Valium family, but Valium is fuzzy and Klonopin is insidious because it’s so subtle that you can hardly tell you took it. I got through 1986 and 1987. Thank God I’d already written the words for my record The Other Side of the Mirror. But what started happening was that if I didn’t take it, my hands started to shake. I felt like I had a neurological disease or Parkinson’s. I started not being able to get to Lindsey Buckingham’s house on time, and I would get there and everybody was drinking, so I’d have a glass of wine. Don’t mix tranquilizers and wine. Then I’d sing horrific parts on his songs, and he would take the parts off. I was hardly on Tango of the Night, which I happen to love.

The next six years were terrible. Looking back on it, I think this therapist was basically a groupie. He had no science, no facts, no provable research - none. That "profession" isn't comparable to MDs. It is all guess work, and they admit that in their ads and drug labels. But they are guessing with our lives. We are so desperate that we think we have nowhere else to turn. He loved hearing stories of rock and roll and he started upping my dose. He watched me go from a beautiful, 125-pound, newly sober woman who had the world at her feet to a 170-pound woman who had the lights go out in her eyes.

Finally, in 1993, I’d had enough. I said, “Take me to a hospital.” I went in for 47 days, and it made Betty Ford look like a cakewalk. My hair turned gray and my skin molted. I could hardly walk. You can detox off heroin in 12 days. Coke is just a mental detox. But tranquilizers—they are dangerous. I was terrified to leave, and I came away knowing that that would never happen to me again.

I learned so much in that hospital. I wrote the whole time I was there, stuff that I consider to be some of my best writing ever. I learned that I could have fun and laugh and cry with amazing people and not be on drugs. I learned that I could live my life and still be beautiful and fun and still go to parties and not even have to have a glass of wine. I never went to therapy again after that—why would I?
